Founded in 1983, Pipers of Distinction is a family-owned and operated bagpiper business based in Sydney, led by Barry and Liz Gray. With a legacy spanning more than four decades, we proudly provide world-class entertainers locally and internationally for weddings, funerals, corporate events, and cultural celebrations.

Barry Gray, our founder, brings over 50 years of professional bagpiping experience, having performed and competed at the highest levels worldwide. His dedication to excellence has shaped Pipers of Distinction into one of the most respected names in professional bagpipe services throughout Australasia.

Our Team of Professional Musicians

Behind Barry and Liz is a talented team of local Sydney bagpipers, drummers, saxophonists, and trumpet players who are internationally recognised musicians. Each performer is a full-time professional committed to creating unforgettable experiences, whether you’re hosting a wedding in Sydney, a memorial service overseas, or a large corporate event anywhere in the world.
